PALMISANO Marta

Marta Palmisano graduated with honours in Criminal Law from the University of Palermo. In 2015, she graduated from the School of Specialisation for the Legal Professions at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. She has been a lawyer since 2017. In the same year, she won the Falcone Borsellino Scholarship aimed at carrying out research on organised crime. In 2017/2018 she was a Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institut für Ausländisches und Internationales Strafrecht in Freiburg (Germany). In 2019, she obtained her PhD in Criminal Law at the University of Palermo. Since 2019, she has been appointed as a lecturer in Criminal Law at the same University. In 2020/2021 she held an internship at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Sicilian Region. She also worked at the Programming Department of the Presidency of the Sicilian Region and in 2022 she took up a position at the Ministry of Ecological Transition in Rome.
