PENCO Emmanuele

Born in 1989, in October 2013 he graduated with honours from the University of Genoa and in May 2018 he obtained, at the same University, the degree of Doctor of Laws and Criminal Procedure.
He is currently a researcher in criminal law at the University of Genoa. He is the author of several publications in criminal law, including the monograph Soglie di punibilità ed esigenze di sistema (Giappichelli, 2023). He has focused his research activity on topics such as offensiveness, the particular tenuousness of the fact, culpable responsibility and criminal intervention in the context of the pandemic emergency.
In June 2023, he was awarded the National Scientific Qualification to hold the position of Second-Branch Professor in Criminal Law.
