Biography

Stefano Porfido is a research fellow at the University of RomaTre, where he investigates the European Union's legal regime on nature restoration. He is also affiliated with the Centre for International Environmental Studies of the Geneva Graduate Institute. Stefano graduated cum laude with a PhD in Law from the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa (Italy), defending a thesis on restorative justice for corporate environmental crimes. His research interests include restorative justice, green criminological perspectives, European environmental law and the relationship between sustainability and corporate due diligence.
